The patterns rolled on, shattered and born
from the suburbs and so on
We are not defined by the need to be vital
but the need to be pacified and so do I

So I close the garage and I sit in my car
but I can seem to reach for the key
Did I smile and remember my psychedelic
daydreams in 11th grade history

You can't wait for me I know
You just can't wait until they fly
